I use several therapeutic approaches, and the modality used in therapy is primarily influenced by the client's needs, personality, and goals. I primarily function from Object Relations Theory, which focuses on the impact of very early significant relationships on the ongoing emotional development of an individual.
Therapy also focuses on how previous relational experiences affect current relationships. I have experience working with families from a systemic perspective.
My initial training in Cognitive Behavior Therapy and the training I received in my doctoral program to incorporate Religious Beliefs into treatment, if desired, are tools I utilize in my work frequently. As a Psychoanalyst, I am equipped to see clients multiple times a week.
